How do I access Starloop to generate client reviews for my website, Google My Business or Facebook?

Back in early March 2019, AFI launched the Starloop online review initiative. All of your clients (current and former) for whom you had an email address in your office’s software system should have received the following message:

·         Dear [Client Last Name] Family,

You are receiving this email because you or a loved one received care from Amada Senior Care [location name] at some point. Would you take a moment to offer feedback?

Once you provide us with feedback, our online review partner Starloop will plant a tree for every review we get.

AFI handled the first round of client emails, and all positive reviews were initially pushed to Google My Business. If the client’s feedback is neutral or negative, it came back to the franchise partner in the form of a message.

After the initial launch, franchise partners were instructed to request reviews on their own using the Starloop private invitation form.  The Private Invitation form is a tool you should ALWAYS be taking advantage of. Anytime you get a new client’s cell phone number and/or email address (we recommend adding a space for the clients email to your intake or assessment form if you haven’t already), get their permission to ask for a review, then upload their information to the invite form after they’ve been on service for a week or so. Reviews will populate to the channel we’re focusing on, and over time, this will SIGNIFICANTLY improve your visibility in online search. It’s a good idea to designate someone in the office to do this regularly (i.e. once a month). To view your private invitation form, click the link below. In order to request reviews, you can use any of the following steps:

Starloop Upload Portal

·         To request a single review from a client via email, simply enter the client’s first and last name in the main section of the page (the form with the “Invite One” tab). Once you’ve done this, check the “email” box, enter their email address, then click the box to indicate you have permission to request a review from them via email. Then click “Invite.”

·         To request a single review from a client via text message, simply enter the client’s first and last name in the main section of the page (the form with the “Invite One” tab). Once you’ve done this, check the “text” box, enter the clients cell phone number, then click the box to indicate you have permission to request a review from them via text. Then click “Invite.”

·         To request multiple reviews from clients via email, click the “Invite Many” tab. Upload either an xls or csv spreadsheet with the clients’ first name, last name, and email in separate rows and columns. Then follow the onscreen prompts to match the information and send out the mass email.

Starloop initially was set up in March 2019 to drive reviews to each franchise location’s Google My Business page. However, these reviews will reach a point of diminishing returns. Locations close to that point need to refocus on adding reviews to their individual websites.

“Fresh copy on your websites is extremely valuable,” said Director of Marketing Jeremy Brooker. “This is essentially what our weekly blog is, so a new review at least once a week will provide a search engine optimization boost for you.”

The Starloop review-generation software program is being modified to direct reviews to websites instead of GMB. We’ve heard from some of you who prefer to keep your account set up as is. That’s fine, but please understand you might miss out on significant SEO value that website reviews provide.

“Over time, getting more Google My Business reviews begins to have less value than getting new written content (copy) on your website,” said Jeremy. “Reviews offer fresh content that will boost your ranking in organic search results more than your number of Google reviews since Google’s algorithm rates fresh content pretty heavily.”

There’s an easy way for you to drive reviews to your website on your own. Simply add /#reviews to the end of your website URL. It will direct your clients and their families to an anchor link created for each website that makes it easier for them to review your location. Here’s how to ask for a website review in an email (or traditional mail):
